Dynamo v DC
Early start time Saturday
The Dynamo/DC match kicks off at 7 pm Saturday at Robertson Stadium. First 7,500 fans entering the stadium will receive a National Pride poster featuring Dominic Oduro, Lovel Palmer, Pat Onstad, Luis Landin and Brian Ching, courtesy of VW. Since it's National Pride Night, be sure to wear your Dynamo jersey or your favorite national team’s colors -- Volkswagen will be filming the crowd during the game for use in their World Cup commercial.
Joseph Ngwenya will be eligible for this match -- finally! And Tally Hall is set to make his first MLS appearance, as Pat Onstad is with the Canadian national team preparing for Monday's match against Argentina.
Champions of Hope
The Champions of Hope tailgate runs 5:30-7 pm at Pavilion #6 on the west side (Scott St. side) of the stadium. If you purchased a Champions of Hope package, your name will be on the event list and all you'll need is a valid ID to enter. You will pick up your game tickets and special Champions of Hope beer stein at the pavilion.
Academy v u17 national team
Following the match, fans can stick around to watch the Dynamo Academy take on the US u17 national team, which includes two former Academy players -- goalkeeper Fernando Piña and midfielder Bryan Celis. Seating will be on the west side of the stadium.
Support HFD soccer
Defending gold medalist team HFD Soccer is raising funds to compete in the Texas Firefighter Olympics in July. There are 7 games this season (including the DC match) where the Dynamo will give HFD Soccer $10 for every $20 ticket sold. Details at http://mydynamo.ning.com/forum/topics/support-hfd-soccer?xg_source=activity.
