US men v Honduras tonight
The US men play their final warm-up match tonight before World Cup qualifying begins. They face Honduras in Foxboro, MA; game airs live on Fox Sports World and HDNet at 6:30 pm, and will also be shown on tape delay on Telemundo at 10:30 pm. The US roster for the match includes Claudio Reyna (this will be his 100th cap), Earnie Stewart, Tim Howard, Landon Donovan, DaMarcus Beasley and Brian McBride.


Houston Stars home game Saturday
The WPSL's Houston Stars face the Las Vegas Tabagators at Soccer World Center in Richmond (southwest Houston) at 7 pm Saturday. Tickets are just $5. Stars roster includes WUSA veteran Michaella Rooney and several local collegians: Lauren Shockley, Marisa Galvan and Betsy Huete from Rice, Nikki Hawkins from UH, plus Emma Smith, Shannon Labhart, Emily DeWoody, Carrie Berend and Christina Echavarry from A&M. US women v Japan Sunday

MLS °Futbolito! 4v4 tourney returns to Houston
Futbolito!, the official 4v4 tourney of MLS, is open to players of all ages and abilities. MLS °Futbolito! will be in Houston Saturday, June 26 at Bear Creek Park. Carlos Valderrama is scheduled to make an appearance.

Under 19 women face Mexico
The u19 women's national team faces Mexico this Friday in the semifinal of qualifying for the 2004 u19 Women's World Championship. Kickoff is 4:30 pm; fans can follow the match live on <http://www.ussoccer.com>ussoccer.com's MatchTracker. The other semifinal is Canada v Costa Rica. Semifinal winners qualify for the world championships in Thailand in November.


2004 Summer Goalkeeper Camp
July 19-23 at Pin Oak soccer fields (Bellaire)
9-11:30 am daily, $175
Sessions will be conducted by former professional keeper and national goalkeeper clinician, Steve Branz. Steve has trained goalkeepers of all levels for over a decade. His speciality is helping young keepers develop their full potential. Several of Steve's students have gone on to excel at collegiate, state, regional and national team levels.

The camp will focus on dealing with crosses, hand & foot distribution, proper diving techniques, shot handling and dealing with the backpass. Additionally, keepers will understand the importance of  developing quickness, agility, explosion and overall specific keeper strength. Only 25 spaces available.
