The US women meet Trinidad & Tobago at 3 pm; follow
the match on ussoccer.coms MatchTracker. The team
then faces Haiti on February 27 (8 pm) and Mexico on
February 29 (3 pm). The semifinal will be March 3 (Canada
is the likely opponent), and the final is March 5.
Semifinal winners qualify for the Olympics in Athens. See

WUSA "Keep the Dream Alive" Initiative
The WUSA recently announced the Keep the WUSA Dream
Alive ticket fund initiative. The womens
professional league, which will host weekend soccer
festivals in June, will use the campaign to gauge support
as it prepares to return to full operation for 2005. WUSA
fans can go to http://www.wusa.com/keepthedreamalive/ to learn how to pledge support.
Fulfillment of pledges will take place later this year
when 2005 plans are announced. The goal is to have 2,500
clubs/organizations nationwide commit to purchasing a
minimum of $1,000 of tickets per year, for three years.

Soccer Tournament March 13 & 14. There will be
divisions for men & women (5v5), plus boys &

MLS TV sked for 2004
ABC and ESPN2 will combine to offer 29 telecasts of MLS
games this year. ABC will televise the opening match
(April 3) plus the All-Star Game (July 24) and MLS Cup
(November 14). Twenty-one broadcasts will be on Saturday
