Nigeria has world-class players like midfielder Jay-Jay
Okocha (Bolton FC), Nwankwo Kanu (Arsenal),
Celestine Babayaro (Chelsea), Julius Aghahowa
(Shaktar Donetsk, Ukraine), and Obafemi Martins (Inter
Milan). Ecuador made history qualifying out of South
America for last year's World Cup and features legendary
midfielder Alex Aguinaga (Necaxa), striker Augustin
Delgado (former Necaxa, now at Southampton), and
attacking defender Ulisses De La Cruz (Aston Villa). The
game will be available via Internet streaming video
pay-per-view at www.willow.tv and broadcast live on
DirecTV (pay-per-view).

US Women vs Ireland Saturday night
Mia
Hamm, Julie Foudy, Briana Scurry & co. take on the
Irish in another World Cup warmup. Game airs live
Saturday June 14 at 8 pm on ESPN2. This will be the 2nd
time the US has played Ireland. The US beat them 5-0 in
1999.

(DaMarcus Beasley) faces eastern division leaders
MetroStars (Clint Mathis) at 3 pm CT this Saturday on
ESPN2, followed by Columbus Crew (Brian McBride) at D.C.

offers three clinics this summer: June 14, July 19 and
August 9. All clinics will be 9:30 - 11 am at the GOALS

with Glenn Davis" aims to provide coverage of
Houston's soccer scene, plus domestic, and international
soccer. The show will include guests from the world of
soccer, updates, coverage of local events, and opinion.

Youth license coaching course in San Antonio

Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) and Alamo Area
Youth Soccer Association Lions Soccer Club will be
co-hosting a National Youth License Coaching Course from
August 3-8. The course is limited to 30, and will be
filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cost is $470 on or before July 10; $525 after July 10
