Just 10 days to go before the big game

More than 45,000 tickets have already been sold for what is being billed as "Revancha en la Cancha" -- US vs. Mexico at Reliant Stadium on Thursday, May 8.

Tickets for the biggest soccer game in Houston history are still available in the $27-$50 range and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout Texas (including Fiesta, Foley's and Wherehouse Music), by phone at 713-629-3700 and online at http://www.houstontexans.com/news/index.cfm?page_type=sub&cont_id=168232. The U.S. enters the border battle with a psychological edge after defeating their fiercest rival edge 2-0 in the Round of 16 at the 2002 World Cup almost 10 months ago, giving the U.S. a win in five of their last six meetings. U.S. Men's National Team manager Bruce Arena will announce the 18-man roster for the match Tuesday at 9 a.m. on http://www.ussoccer.com.

Parking lots open at 4 pm. Check out Budweiser Plaza for music and pre-game entertainment. Parking passes can be purchased through Ticketmaster. A large walk-up is expected, so get your tickets now, and plan to arrive earlier rather than later.
