Adidas Cup final Saturday
Tomorrow is your last chance to catch the future stars of the US national team at Meyer Park field 4. There are two games (6 and 8 pm) featuring the u17 national teams of the US, Japan and Canada, plus a US Soccer ODP team. Admission is free. The adidas Cup is held in conjunction with the Texas Shootout, one of the largest soccer tournaments for youth women. The Shootout games will start at 1 pm today and end around 5 pm on Sunday. Women's World Cup update
Yes, it's official! The 2003 Women's World Cup will be held this fall in the U.S. Chances of matches in Houston are quite slim for a variety of reasons... however, STYSA prez Ed Loucks has asked the Texas soccer community to make their voice heard so hopefully we can get a match or two _somewhere_ in this great state. Please email, fax or call Dan Flynn, the Secretary General of US Soccer ASAP. The venue decisions will be made prett ysoon, so speak up now:

Summer skills clinics for women
HWSA offers three clinics this summer: June 14, July 19 and August 9. All clinics will be 9:30 - 11 am at the GOALS complex in Spring Branch (see map at http://www.hwsa.org/maplinks.html). US Men vs New Zealand next weekend
