Open goalkeeper training on Monday nights

YMCA high school soccer
The Weekley Family Y on Stella Link offers high school soccer on weeknights, 8:30-10 pm, and is open to those in high school, age 14+. Play until 9:30, then head indoors for a snack and a chance to hang out with friends. New this year is the opportunity to be an assistant coach for one of the youth soccer teams. Cost is $65 for Weekley Family Y members, otherwise $100. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Registration is ongoing. ESPN2 Documentary on Team USA
"Road Trip with Team USA" is a two-episode, behind-the-scenes look at the U.S. Women's National Team, including practices leading up to and through several World Cup matches. The first episode will air this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. CT (between the two World Cup quarterfinals). The second episode will follow the third-place match Saturday, October 11 at 4:30 p.m. CT

Northwest Indoor Soccer is registering teams for the next session through this Friday. Play begins the week of October 13, and runs through early December. It's usually a ten-game season over an eight-week period, with champions having their choice of trophies, T-shirts, or $50 credit towards the following season.
