MLS Cup champions in Houston!
TSSAS (Texas State Soccer Association - South) is pleased to announce the following international doubleheader:

Wednesday, November 6 at Robertson Stadium
7 pm L.A. Galaxy (MLS) vs. Santos (Mexico)
9 pm     Olimpia (Honduras) vs. Aguilas (El Salvador)

Tickets are on sale at Fiesta Supermarkets, Soccer4All, Taqueria Arandas and the UH ticket office. Advance tickets are $23 for general admission and $33 for reserved seats. Game day ticket prices will be $28 general admission and $38 reserved seating.

And I want to give a shout-out to TSSAS for its generous support of the WUSA exhibition game and the gameday volunteers it provided.


Women's Gold Cup
The CONCACAF qualifying tournament for the 2003 Women's World Cup in China is underway. For info, see http://www.usssoccer.com. All games will be broadcast live on Fox Sports World & Fox Sports en Espanol, including:

Women's collegiate soccer
Longhorns v Aggies
The Longhorns face the Aggies in College Station this Friday at 7 pm. This game determines the winner of Big 12 conference. WAC women's soccer championship
Rice University hosts the 2002 WAC tourney Nov. 7-9, featuring the top six teams from the conference in a single-elimination format. Session tickets will be available for $20 (backed seats) -- call the Rice Ticket Office at 713-348-4068.
