Mission
accomplished!
Despite the weather, last weekend's WUSA
exhibition game at Rice University was a smashing
success. Attendance topped 5,000, which means Houston set
a record for attendance at a stand-alone WUSA exhibition
in a non-franchise city. Both teams were very impressed
with the fans and the Houston hospitality, and said they
would love to return. If you bought tickets, thank you.
If you didn't, I hope you'll come next year!
I usually don't condone advertising in Keeper Notes, but
I would like to thank the sponsors who made Saturday's
event possible:

Minuteman Press Post Oak Dell Computers
Churrasco's Brian O'Neill's Ruggles
Cafe Bakery Montalbano Tire El Meson

College Cup TSSAS
I also want to thank all the volunteers who worked on
gameday, passed out flyers in the weeks before the game,
or helped in any way. We couldn't have done it without
you!
